Orphan Train Riders to Iowa  Orphan Train Riders

~ Emmet County~

(Retyped from the Estherville Enterprise,

Wednesday, November 11, 1914)

When in Wallingford, Thursday, the writer called at the W. J. Fisher home to see the little orphan brothers who were placed there, knowing that everyone is interested the little fellows would say that the boys are getting along nicely and are getting as fat as little pigs, especially Victor the oldest. One does not notice the change quite so much in little Russell. It would be hard to tell which seemed the most pleased, Mrs. Fisher or her boys. Francis Anderson, whom A. J. Anderson took is also well liked and will soon begin school.
