Luella J. Wright, 85, succumbs Tuesday
St. Louis _ Mrs. Luella J. Wright, 85, of St. Louis, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 31, at the Gratiot County Medical Care Facility in Alma where she had lived since July. She had been in poor health for three years.
Mrs. Wright was born in Midland County, Porter Twp., Jan. 21, 1883, the daughter of Alzina and William Jarvis. The greater part of her life, she she lived most of her life on the farm where she was born, moving to St. Louis in September 1959.
On March 4, 1902, she was united in marriage to Elsworth Wright who preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1959.
Surviving are one son, Laurel of Mesick; one sister, Mrs. Sanders Allen of St. Louis; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 3, at 1:30p.m., from the Carter Funeral Home in St. Louis. The Rev. Marvin L. Reiff of St. Louis will officiate. Burial will be at the Ridgelawn Cemetery in Breckenridge.
