        Killed September 12th at St. Mihiel. Buried near where he fell. Son of Mrs. Lillie Edwards, Springfield, Missouri. Private Edwards was killed in the attack on the St. Mihiel salient. Born February 26, 1899.

        Killed at St. Mihiel near Benney, September 12, 1918. Son of Mrs. Mary Maloch, Gonzales, Texas. Private Maloch had been with the regiment only a short time. He came to us as a replacement from the Texas National Guard. Private Maloch was killed by a fragment of high explosive shell on the first day of our advance.
