       Killed at Chteau Thierry, July 28, 1918. Grave No. 21-E, Map of Fere-en-Tardinois. Son of Jennie Stephenson, , North Branch, Michigan. Corporal Stephenson was killed in the drive on the Chateau Thierry salient near Sergy while attempting to capture a machine gun nest. He made an excellent record in the Lorraine Sector and also during the Champagne defensive. Born at Red Oak, Iowa, September 12, 1895.

        Killed in the drive near Sergy, July 28, 1918. Son of Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Campbell, Grant, Iowa. Private Campbell was killed in the attack on Hill 212. He gave up his studies in High School with no other thought than that it was his duty to do so and enlisted in the 168th Infantry. He had served with the regiment in Lorraine and at Champagne.
