WAR CROSS TO SIX IOWA MEN



The French war cross has been given to six members of the 168th Infantry, formerly the Third Iowa, now on the fighting front in France.

They are: *Frank Osgood of Centerville, who has since been reported
killed.

Charles S. Gordon of Centerville. He has four children living there.

Sergeant Pearl Edwards of Centerville.

Russell Lewis and Roy Breese, of Company M, of Red Oak.

Captain C. W. Atkins, of Company A, of Winterset.
