DAVID A. PAUL, Gilman, son Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Paul; aged 18; recruited, Grinnell, Ia., Sept., 1917; died in French hospital, June 8, 1918, of wounds received in action; lived in Jasper county, postoffice at Gilman, Marshall county; parents now residents of Gilman.
 
SAMUEL ANDERSON, Gilman, aged 29, farmer; selective, July 24, 1918, Camp Pike, Ark.; overseas Oct. 1, 1918, Pvt. Co. H, 161st Inf., 41st (Sunset) Div.; landed Newport News, Va., Feb. 24, 1919; died of disease, Camp Dodge, March 16, 1919.
