     Buried in an American Cemetery near Meuse, France.

Frederick W. Gaebler

July 14, 1887

November 25, 1918

Sgt., Co. C,  341st M. G. Bn.

 

  

      Wounded when rifle bullet pierced right lung which developed acute pleuritis. He received his wound in the Argonne Forest offensive, and was removed to Base Hospital 84, where he died.

      Mr. Gaebler was manager of the Sioux City plant of Swift & Co. of the time of his call to arms.

      Buried in the National Cemetery at Arlington, Virginia.

      Son of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Gaebler, care of Swift & Co., Omaha, Nebraska.
