      Instantly killed when struck by high explosive shell in taking Hill 212, near Fere-en-Tardinois, France.

      Buried in an American Cemetery at Aisne, Seringes-et-Nesles.

      Son of Mr. and Mrs. O. F. Wagner, 2018 South Royce Street, Sioux City, Iowa.
