      Died at a Paris Base Hospital of double pneumonia. Received especial recognition as interpreter in service with Base Censor's department in Paris.

      Buried in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, September 6, 1921.

      Son of Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Frederick, 1510 Prairie Street, Sioux City, Iowa.
