On Sunday, February 22, 1920, Edward H. Monahan Post
of The American Legion acted for the Republic of France in presenting
to each Gold Star Mother of Sioux City a Memorial Certificate of which
the above is a reproduction in miniature. The name and unit of each
Gold Star is engraved on the certificate inscribed to his honor. |
