Memorial

view 2

This Memorial tablet is hanging in a stairwell of the (currently named) Ola Babcock - Miller building that houses the State Library of Iowa.  This historical building was originally named "Historical, Memorial and Art Building".

The beautiful sculpture was done by Sherry Fry and the inscription at the bottom reads:

Erected by the 351 Regiment 88 Division US Army in Memory of Their Dead Comrades 1917-1919
