Subject:  Release from Active Duty

 

Reference: Bunav. circular letter 212-18, Nov. 21, 1918.

 

1. You are hereby detached from such duties as you may now be performing and will consider yourself released from active duty on December 20, 1918

 

2. Your status upon your release from active duty will be that of a member of the U. S. Naval Reserve Force on inactive status, subject to call to active duty by the Commandant in time of emergency, or when the Naval service may require.

 

3. You will at all times, during the period for which you were enrolled, keep the Commandant, Ninth, Tenth and Eleventh Naval Districts, informed of any change in your address, in order that proper record may be had of your whereabouts at all times.
