DAMM / DAM My gr-grand uncle Peter Mathias DAM emmigrated from Denmark around 1870 and ended up in Latimer, Marion twp by 1885. His son John L. Damm and grandson Earl Peter Damm spent many years in Franklin Co., in and around Latimer and Coulter. Dave Montgomery (01/03/13)
DANIELS Luella Viola Daniels married Phillip Henry Wolfenberger 19 Oct 1876 Franklin co IA.  On the IGI website it says Linda V Daniels and P. H. Wolfenberger.  I have a picture of Phillip.   Luella's brother Albert Paul, Omri emery, and Henry Brown Daniels lived in Mott Twp after moving from Rock City Stephenson co IL.

According to the info from the obituary, Luella died in the Hampton area c 1882 as did one of the three daughters.  I have never found Luella grave, date of death or names of the other two children.     I did find Phillip getting married again...but not the daughter that left with him.

GIBBS My G-G-Grandfather, John Nelson Montgomery, moved his (2nd) family to Franklin County in about 1867-68 from LaSalle County, IL.  He lived early in Franklin and later in Hardin (150 acres just west of Iowa Falls) in the 1867 to 1908 timeframe.  He died in 1908.  His wife Amanda Harriet (Springstead) Strider Montgomery, died 1901.  They are buried in Union Cemetery in Iowa Falls.

They had 4 daughters, with the following married names: Florilla Ursula (?) Gibbs, Luceva (Joseph) Wells, Minnie M (Edmund) Stuart (Stewart), Anne Ella (?) Sherer

HANSEN My grandmother and grandfather (Carl Chris Hansen and Else Hansen) lived in Coulter from 1914 through 1932. My grandmother also lived in Hampton and Dows up until 1960 when she moved to California. My father and all of his brothers and sisters (except the eldest were born in Coulter and delivered by Dr. Martin. I believe Dr. Martin lived in Latimer.
