Lt. Karl G. Fox arrived Thursday from the
Pacific, where he has spent 20 months on duty on Borneo, and as
commanding officier at the P-T bases on the Solomon Islands, He is
home on 32 day leave.

FOX FUNERAL HOME SOLD
The Fox funeral home has been sold to Ernest
Pfeiffer. Mr. Pfeiffer will remodel the downstairs part, making two
apartments. The second floor, which is arranged for living quarters,
will be occupied by the Pfiffer family.

Mrs. A. J. Fox and Miss Grace Meyer were
hostesses at a 6:30 dinner last evening, complimentary to Lt. and
Mrs. K. G. Fox. Lt. and Mrs. K. G. Fox. Lt. Fox leaves next Thursday
for Great Lakes, Ill., for further assignment.
