Monday a reception at the Miss Margaret Paine
home was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Hunt, which was attended by
between 130 and 140 old friends and townspeople. The Misses Paine
were assisted by other ladies and neighbors, and in the evening
Masons and Eastern Star members assisted. Mrs. Jennie Denniston and
Mrs. A. J. Fox poured for the afternoon, and Mrs. C. R. Carpenter
and Mrs. J. D. Parker poured in the evening.

Personals
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carson have rented the Mrs.
Carrie Whitney residence, and moved there yesterday. Carson is
employed at the Fox furniture store. Their former home was in
Marshalltown.
