Membership in the Emmet County Genealogy Society is $5.00 per year. The membership year runs January through December. We have meetings monthly January through November. Members also receive a discount on any genealogical copies from microfilm, at the Estherville Public Library.

Marriage Books - These are indexes of the records at the Emmet County Courthouse. They are indexed by both the groom's name and the Bride's name. Each listing give the date of the marriage, as well as the Volume and page number the original record may be located at. Some of the marriage records are available on microfilm at the Estherville Public Library.

Each volume is indexed, and lists the information on each tombstone in cemetery including names, dates, and any other inscription that is there. Each book also has a map of the cemetery, so that individual graves may be located.
