Oldham, William. No record of enlistment date but did enlist as a Private. One record has him rejected September 24, 1861, by Mustering Officer and another record has him mustering out on September 24, 1861.

Owen, Hiram Colgrove Age 29. Residence Spirit Lake, nativity Pennsylvania. Enlisted September 25, 1861. Mustered November 18, 1861. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Died May 15, 1924 at Spirit Lake, Dickinson County, Iowa. Buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Dickinson County, Iowa.

Paine (Payne), William M. Age 30. Residence O'Brien County, Iowa. Nativity Rhode Island. Enlisted September 25, 1861. Mustered into Sioux City Cavalry November 14(18), 1861. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Mustered out on November 23, 1864. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War have him buried in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. William's wife, Polly, is buried at Otho Cemetery, Webster County, Iowa.

Parkhurst, Silas B. Age 44. Residence Cherokee County. Born Milford, Massachusetts, 1816. Enlisted October 11, 1861. Mustered Sioux City Cavalry November 18, 1861. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Mustered out November 23, 1864. From the Report of the Board of Managers of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soliders (Marshalltown, Iowa) for the Fiscal Year Ended June 30, 1895, a Descriptive list of members admitted to the Iowa Soldiers, Home during the year ending June 30, 1895 includes Number: 1227; Name: Silas B. Parkhurst; Regiment: I, 7th Iowa Cav; Rank: Private; Months Served: 37; Birth Place: Massachusetts; Age: 79; Disability: weak eyes and old age; Place of Admittance: Iowa; Occupation: Farmer; Marital Status: Married. Died in Chelsea, Suffolk County, Massachusetts on May 19, 1910 at the age of 94. A bio of Silas B. Parkhurst appears in the History of Cherokee County [Iowa].

Phipps, Luther. Age 18. Residence Sioux City. Nativity Massachusetts. Enlisted as a Private May 23 (27), 1863 in Sioux City Regiment. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Mustered out on June 22, 1866 at Sioux City, Iowa. Died 1 May 1924.

Pinkerton, Mervin. Age 32. Residence Sioux City. Nativity New York. He was a Physician. Enlisted as a Private in Iowa Sioux City Cavalry on November 13(14), 1861. Transferred to Company I, 7th Cavalry Regiment on July 14, 1863. Mustered out on November 23, 1864 in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a Physiciabecame a Doctor. He died December 29, 1897 and is buried at Tabor Cemetery, Tabor, Mills County, Iowa.

Plato, Osmund H. Enlisted in the Iowa Sioux City Cavalry as a Private with no recorded date. In one record it states he was mustered out and in another record he was rejected with both records indicating September 26, 1861. Born in 1834, became a lawyer, and died in 1918 in Iowa.

Porter, James F. Residence Onawa, Iowa. Nativity Indiana. Enlisted as a Private October 14, 1861. Enlisted into Sioux City Regiment Iowa November 18, 1861. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Mustered out on November 23, 1864 at Sioux City, Iowa. Died January 18, 1915 at Onawa, Monona County, Iowa. Buried at Onawa City Cemetery.

Received a disability discharge from Sioux City Regiment Iowa on 14 May 1863. Land Office Grant, Woodbury County, Iowa on 20 December 1873. Given invalid pension on 18 July 1876. Mary B. Pratt, given widow pension on 15 July 1880. Buried in Floyd Cemetery, Woodbury County, Iowa. Date of death is 24 October 1879.

Rapp, Peter. Age 24. Residence Sioux City, nativity Germany. Enlisted Sioux City Regiment March 14, 1863. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Promoted to Full 8th Corporal on September 1, 1865. Promoted to Full 7th Corporal on December 20, 1865. Promoted to Full 6th Corporal on February 1, 1866. Mustered Out Company I, 7th Cavalry Regiment Iowa on April 10, 1866 at Sioux City, Iowa. Removed to Nebraska after the war and then shortly after removed to Pottawattamie where he lived the rest of his life. He died between 1910 and 1920 and is presumed buried in Pottawattamie County.

Richmond, Otis. Age 23. Residence Sioux City, nativity Ohio. Enlisted as a Private May 23, 1863 into Sioux City Cavalry. Transfered to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Promoted to Full 6th Sergeant on 04 Dec 1863. Promoted to Full 2nd Sergeant on 09 Dec 1864. Mustered out on June 11, 1866 at Davenport, Iowa.

Ridley, Albion. Age 18. Residence Estherville, nativity Maine. Enlisted September 24, 1861. Mustered Sioux City Cavalry November 15, 1861. Transferred to Company I, Seventh Cavalry, July 14, 1863. Died December 7, 1928, at Friday Harbor, Washington. Buried Center Cemetery, Lopez Island.

Mustered out on November 23, 1864 at Sioux City, Iowa. Filed for pension in Minnesota in 1891. Living in Minnesota in the 1900 Census.
