By entering the word kingman in the search box on this web site page you can read much information on Alvorado and also Rosalvo Kingman who apparently is a brother as they were living together in the 1850 Stevens Point, Portage County, Wisconsin census. They were pioneers in Dickinson County, appearing in the 1860 Spirit Lake census. It appears from some of the history documents, Alvorado was in military service before the enlistment date mentioned above. After discharge he remained in Dickinson County and once served as a Treasurer and Recorder for the county. After his wife passed away he lived with his daughter in Center Grove. He passed away in 1907 and he and his wife are buried in Lakeview Cemetery, Dickinson County, Iowa.
