I have forgotten whether I have ever made a return of the marriage of Israel Scroggy & Martha Bragg

You will please examine & if the return has been made all is right & if not you will please record the following..

I do hereby Certify that Israel Scroggy and Martha Bragg were lawfully joined together in marriage on the 24th day of Jan 1849 by me

This will Certify that on the 16th Day of January 1849 I married Jacob J. Nicholson aged 23 years to Martha Hudson in her 15th year.  Both of Eads Grove, in the above mentioned State and County

This will Certify that on the 25th of Aprile 1849 - I Married - Mr- James Youngs - aged 26 - to Miss- Mary Ann Smith, aged 16 - Both of Eads Grove - Colewater Township Delaware County Iowa

I D. Hereby Certify that on the 14th day of March A. D. 1849 at the house of William Bragg in the Colony Township of Delaware County I did join in the Holy Bands of Matrimony Mr. James Rutherford aged 30 years and Miss Catherine Bragg aged 18 years according to a License issued by the Clerk of the District Court of Delaware County   

I D. Hereby Certify that on the 29th day of April A. D. 1849 at the house of William Bragg in the Colony Township of Delaware County I did join in the Holy Bands of Matrimony Mr. Livingstone I joined in Marriage Mr. John H. Seeley aged 24 years to Anna Livingstone aged 18 years of Delaware County according to a License issued by the Clerk of the District Court of said County   

I do hereby certify that at the House of Mr. Martin -- on the 24 day of April A. D. 1849. I united in the Holy Bands of Matrimony Andrew Ginger aged 25 to Miss Elizabeth Martin aged 17 years of Delaware County according to a License issued by the Clerk of the District Court of said County

I do hereby Certify that I joined to gether in the bonds of matrimony at the house of Barnabas Dighton in the County of Delaware on the 20 day of May A. D. 1849 Benjamin F. Dighton age 22 years and Catherine Jane Pits aged 18 years both of Delaware Co

I do hereby certify that on the 12th day of June A. D. 1849 Benjamin F. McVey and Manerva J. Balsinger were lawfully joined together in marriage by me --- B. F. McVey being about 26 years old and M. J. Balsinger being about 19 years old

I do hereby certify that I have this day joined in marriage Mr. Richard Barrett aged 23 years and Miss Laura Stiltson McFall aged seventeen years  both residing in Colony Township Delaware County

I do hereby certify that on the 15th day of November A. D. 1849 I married Dudley Shipton, aged 20 years to Sarah Hutson aged 19 Both of Eads Grove Cole Water Township, Delaware County Iowa

This certifies that Mr. Bradford Crosier, aged twenty six years and Miss Henriett M. Pierce, aged nineteen years both of the Township of Delhi and County aforesaid state ---?? first day of November in the year of Lord, one thousand eight hundred and forty nine in the township of Delhi County of Delaware and State of Iowa were married by me.
