Asa Clark Bowen,  born 30 Jun 1827. He died 5 Jan 1887, Delaware Co., Iowa. He is buried in Sand Spring Cemetery, Hopkinton Twp., Delaware Co., Iowa. Asa married Armenia Timmerman Yoran. Armenia was born 1 Jan 1828. She died 30 Oct 1871, Delaware Co., Iowa. She is buried in Sand Spring Cemetery, Hopkinton, Twp., Delaware Co., Iowa.  Asa married second Lucy Ella Shoemaker.  Lucy married second William G. Petrie and she died in Marion Twp., Linn Co., Iowa.

Ellen Petrie, first wife of William shown 1804-1887 should be Helen Petrie (nee McGrath), b. May 1844 (not 1804), d. 04 Feb 1887.

Truman H. Bowen  is Truman Hamlin Bowen, b. 06 Feb 1825, d. 08 Feb 1880. His wife was a Jane Brown, b. 14 Nov 1828, d. 05 May 1905 in Nebraska.  They married 1847 in NY so the Jane B. Bowen born 1848 is not her according to my records but probably a child?

John W. McVay  is John Wesley McVay (sometimes seen as McVey), b. 19 Dec 1825, d. 04 May 1913.  Wife was Sarah McVay (nee Sexton), b. Sept 1828, d. 18 Oct 1882.  His second wife was Mary E. Appleby, b. 21 Mar 1863, d. 04 May 1936 but buried at St. Paul Cemetery in Worthington.

Thomas N. Shoemaker  is Thomas Nicholas Shoemaker, b. 18 Mar 1812, d. 05 Jun 1890.  Wife was Mary Shoemaker (nee Philkins), b. 23 Feb 1812, d. 16 Jan 1878.

Alanson Tuttle, b. 14 Sept 1810, d. 12 Sept 1881 was married to Elmira Barns Bowen, b. 02 Jan 1818 (reading says 1817), d. 15 Nov 1869 (reading says 1868).

Ida May Bowen  b. 30 Mar 1878, d. 15 Aug 1878 - daughter of A. C. and E. Bowen (Asa Clark and Lucy Ella)

The Jane B. Bowen turns out to show as Wife of T. H. so the W. P.A. headstone reading was wrong.  What showing as 1848 should be 1828 and death was 1905 not 1925 (see my previous e-mail for correct information on Jane Brown).  Also shows a "baby" in Row 7 but no name - may be a double for Ida?
