ALMOND SPRAGUE vs. LIZZIE SPRAGUE. The plaintiff wants a divorce. He was married to defendant at Maynard, Iowa, on Jan. l, l893, and lived with her until July l, l900, at all times treating her as a dutiful and loving husband, but on the last named date she deserted him without cause or provocation. He also alleges she has been guilty of such cruel and inhuman treatment as to endanger his life, impair his health and destroy his peace and happiness. As a result of their marriage, three children were born and the two eldest, EARL, aged nine and ERVIE, aged eight years, are in the custody of the plaintiff. MAY SPRAGUE, aged two years, is with her mother. Plaintiff asks for a decree of divorce and the custody and control of the two oldest children. Hoffman & Jackson, attorneys for plaintiff.
