LAURA HOGUE vs. JOHN HOGUE. The plaintiff sues for divorce. They were married in the State of Tennessee on Feb. l, l90l, and lived together until April 2l of the same year. The plaintiff states that during the time they lived together she conducted herself as a kind and loving wife, but that the plaintiff in violation of his marriage vows, was guilty of such cruel and inhuman teatment as to endanger her life; that he threatened to kill her and did attempt to do so, that he has written her many threatening and abusive letters which would endanger her life, peace and happiness. One child, ROBERT, now nine months old, was born to their union and she asks for his care and custody. Although the defendant owns about 400 acres of land in Tennessee, the plaintiff makes no claim for alimony of any kind or character. Hoffman & Jackson, attorneys for plaintiff.
