Tuesday the wills of JAMES MCCLARAN of Davis City and THOS. KONKLIN of High Point, both lately deceased, were filed with Clerk Gates. After all funeral expenses and indebtedness are paid JAMES MCCLARAN bequeaths to his wife, GRISSELLA, 180 acres of land in New Buda Township and 200 acres in Burrell Township, to have and hold as long as she remains his widow in any other event said property to be shared alike by children. To his grandchild, WALLACE LUMMAX, $50 is bequeathed, to be paid upon the attainment of his majority and to HENRY LUMMAX, $100 is bequeathed. Under the terms of the will WALLACE and HENRY LUMMAX are to receive no other portion of the estate. To his wife, GRISSELLA, the testator wills one-third of all property, real and personal, and the remaining two-thirds to be divided equally among the children -- H.L., A.B., JOHN E., BENTON, HARVEY E., GRACE R. and HASE L. MCCLARAN. H.L., A.B. and J.E. MCCLARAN are appointed executors without bond, and are to make no charge for their services except for ecessary expenses. This will signed February 22, 1892 with CARTER SCOTT and J.N. GATES witnesses.
