I thought some of you might want to know the names of some of the families living at Round Knoll. I've never been able to find out if Round Knoll was a town or just an area. I know there was a school there known as School #5 - Round Knoll; which, at one time, my grandmother, ELSIE (PRICE) MCMURTREY taught at. There was also a United Brethren Church; probably held in the Round Knoll School that my MCMURTREYS attended before it disbanded. My g grandparents, ISAAC E. and LOVINA J. (NOAH) MCMURTREY owned land and farmed right close to the Round Knoll School. It was west and north from Van Wert.
