| David T. & Dorothea E. (Boles) Woods Family David Timothy Woods, born April 11, 1857, Clarke County, Iowa, the son of John Alva Woods (1821-1900) and Elizabeth Ann (Gates) Woods (1821-1898), married August 21, 1879, Clarke County, Iowa, Dorothea Ellen Boles. Dorothea, the daughter of William Boles (1828-1895) and Sarah (Gilmore) Boles (1837-1892), was born September 19, 1858, Jones County, Iowa. Dorothea died at the age of 72 years on May 30, 1932, Clarke County, Iowa. David died at the age of 75 years on March 6, 1933. They were interred at Wheelis (a.k.a. Tennessee) Cemetery located northeast of Grand River in Richland Township, Decatur County, Iowa. David and Dorothea were the parents of eight known children: 1. Mary "Luetta" Woods, b. 24 Sep 1885; married Aaron Drew Fry (1881-1971); d. 06 Aug 1979, inter. Van Wert Cemetery 4. Bertha Ann Woods, b. 30 Oct 1887; married 1908 Samuel A. West (1886-1915); d. 10 Apr 1982, Leon IA, int. Wheelis Cemetery 5. Addie Elizabeth Woods, b. 12 Dec 1890; married 1913 Francis Achelis Burchett (1890-1955); d. 31 May 1980, Creston IA, inter. Murray IA 6. Alice Emma Woods, b. 13 Jul 1894; married 1918 Raymond Oren Reasoner (1896-1988); d. 20 Jan 1981, Osceola IA, inter. Hopeville IA 7.
