ILL AND INJURED

Mrs. Arnold J. Heinemann, 237 Thorwaldsen place, who has been a patient in Jane Lamb hospital for the last two weeks, underwent an operation yesterday.  Her condition was reported as "fair". No visitors are allowed.

BIRTHS

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Boisen, 153 Fayette street, are the parents of a son born today in Mercy hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Don Pieper, 1300 South Ninth street, are the parents of a daughter born this morning in Jane Lamb hospital.

Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Grant, of Charlotte are parents of a son born this morning in Jane Lamb hospital.

OTHER

TO GO OVERSEAS

Two officers in the Schick General hospital have been transferred to Camp Beale, Calif., to await overseas assignments.  They are: Second Lt. Andrew J. Pennella, who has been assigned to military personnel in the hospital, and Second Lt. J. P. Walker, former assistant to the commanding officer of the service detachment.
