Know ye, That Knud Holverson a Private of Captain [blank] Company, (B) 1st Batt'n , 16th Regiment of U.S. Infty VOLUNTEERS, who was enlisted on the sixth day of November one thousand eight hundred and sixty one to serve Three years, or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this 24th day of June 1862, at Florence Ala. by reason of [blank]

[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)

Said Knud Holverson was born in Norway , is Twenty seven years of age, 5 feet 4 1/2 inches high, Light complexion, Blue eyes, Brown hair and by occupation when enrolled a Farmer.

Given at Florence, Ala., this 24th day of June 1862.
