Soldier's Certificate of Honorable Discharge

Know ye, That John Anthrom a Private of Captain Jacob Swivel's Company, (E), 21st Regiment of Iowa Infantry VOLUNTEERS, who was enrolled on the 14th day of August one thousand eight hundred and Sixty two to serve Three years, or during the war, is hereby Discharged from the service of the United States, this twentyfirst day of May 1863, at St. Louis, Mo. by reason of Disability.

[No objection to his being re-enlisted is known to exist.)
