Charles was born in February 1875 in Iowa, son of John A. Dohrer & Fredricka Homan. Augusta was born ca1884 in Iowa, daughter of John Meyer & Mary Peick. They farmed in Cox Creek twp. Clayton co.

Katherine 'Kate' Dohrer Wistrick

Katherine 'Kate' Dohrer was born May 1885 and died in 1966. She is buried in Eastside cemetery, Elkader. She married Frederick W. Wistrick in June 1906. Frederick William Wistrick was son of John Wistrick & Wilhelmina Angelis. He was born 07 July 7, 1876 in Germany and died Sept 1, 1957 in Elkader and is buried in Eastside cemetery. Their son, John Henry 'Jack' was born October 18, 1908 and died October 20, 1991.
