Kid is very low at this writing with heart trouble...Mr. Walter Briner went to Garden Grove Monday on business...The little seven-year old son of Mr. George McCarl had the misfortune of being kicked by a horse Saturday morning. Dr. Snyder was called and dressed his wounds, taking one stitch in his lip and pulling three teeth. He is getting along nicely at this writing...Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Twombley, of Osceola, were Saturday visitors at Mr. J. W. Watkins...Mrs. and Mrs. A. E. Tillotson were Weldon callers Monday...Miss Vilma Coffeld is visitng her cousin, Lillie Coffeld...

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Watkins were called to Medicine Lodge, Kansas, by the serious illness of their daughter, Mrs. Tibbetts...Frank Emary was in Decatur City Sunday, playing in the band for memorial services...Theo Sanders has returned from Missouri...Ed Tompkins is in Missouri looking for land...A school picnic will take place Friday in the woods north of J. O. Linder's hosue, a mile south of Lacelle. The schools of Misses Ross and Mabel Linder close that day and they joini n a program and picnic. Everyone invited to come and bring dinners.
Mr. Harry Hopper, of Indianola, was looking after his farm in our neighborhood Monday...Miss Lillie Cofield attended Sunday school at Round Knoll Sunday...Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Varnum, Samuel Varnum and Clara Lee spent Sunday in Westerville. Mr. Byron Hall returned from Indianola Monday...Mr. Albert Haller's sister and husband, of New Sharon, Iowa, visited at the former's home last week...Elzy and Nell Briner took dinner at Jap Lee's Sunday...Mr. Oliver Shipp and daughter were Osceola visitors Monday.
