VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST ORGANIZED IN CHEROKEE COUNTY
Veterans of the last war met this week and organized the first V. F. W. post in Cherokee County, naming it the “L. A. Wescott Post” after the Cherokee doctor who served in France in the World War.  There were 61 charter members, representing nearly  every town in the county.  Charter members are:
