| This
60 year old picture of Leo Alquist Sr. who now lives north of Meriden
was taken in Timber Lake, S.D. and gives a feel of what the Old West
was like in those days with his gun in his holster and the Mustang by
his side. The picture was submitted by his son, Leo Alquist, Jr.
The elder Alquist was born in Marcus and later moved out west to
the Timber Lake area as well as other locations. He moved back to
