Car-Train Accident
Christ Ytzen and his wife are in a Mason City hospital, where Mr. Ytzen is not expected to live, following a collision of their Ford car with a freight train at Thornton. The car was demolished and Mr. Ytzen suffered a fractured pelvis. Mrs. Ytzen, badly cut and bruised will live. Her three children were bruised, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Soren Bertlesen, are being attended by a physician, although they were not badly hurt. All seven live at Coulter. Side curtains on the Ford and rain caused the accident.
