DOUGHERTY -- Mr. and Mrs. Vern RIGGINS of Dougherty will observe their golden wedding anniversary with open house Sunday in the Town Hall at Dougherty.

Hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. No invitations are being issued.

They were married at St. Patrick's Church in Dougherty June 3, 1913, and have always lived in Dougherty.

The RIGGINS have five children, Mrs. Richard (Kathleen) LEWIS of Norfolk, Va., Mrs. Don (Helen) LANGFORD of Salinas, Calif., Mrs. Francis (Rosemary) SCHILLER of Wittier, Calif., Edmund RIGGINS of Mason City and Ronald RIGGINS of La Crosse, Wis. They expect them to be present for the celebration. The RIGGINS have eight grandchildren.
