Mr. and Mrs. Lee Mensch, Manly, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary October 27 from 2 to 5 p.m. at a reception for all friends and relatives at the United Methodist Church in Manly.

They were married October 30, 1918 at the bride's rural Mason City home. They have spent the past 45 years of their married life in Manly. They have two children, Merle, Davenport, Iowa and Mrs. Richard (Arvilla) Michalek of Sacramento, California.
