Edmund Riggins, 11, Doughery,
Struck by Hit-and Stop Driver

R. C. THOMAS, Des Moines, is one man who is not a hit-and-run driver. When the 1934 Chevrolet he was driving struck Edmund RIGGINS, 11, Dougherty, as the boy jumped off a wagon to run to his home late Wednesday afteroon. Mr. THOMAS stopped his car and picked up the boy.

Although the boy said Mr. THOMAS was not to blame, the driver took the boy to his home. The attending physician sad that no bone were broken. The driver reported the accident to Sheriff J. M. ROBERTSON at Mason City and then insisted on returning to Dougherty to take a football to the boy.

NOTE: Edmund was the son of Vern & Rose (DOUGHERTY) RIGGINS.
