MRS. O. J. PIERCE IS RE-ELECTED
Navy Mothers Club Names 1945 Officers

CLEAR LAKE - Mrs. O. J. PIERCE was re-elected commander of Navy Mothers club at Legion hall Monday evening. Mrs. Kenneth COBB is the first vice commander, Mrs. Lester MORETZ 2nd, Mrs. L. E. JACOBSON, adjutant, Mrs. A. B. KNUTSON, finance officer, Mrs. James BUCK, Chaplain, Mrs. Harry BEAL judge advocate, Mmes. Frank BARLOW and Robert MILLER color bearers, and Mmes. Mable ROBERTS and Othilie HOSBAND matrons at arms. Mrs. Henry JOHNSON, past commander, will install the officers Jan. 8.

Reports of committees were received. The welfare committte reported 3,000 surgical dressings, 5 knee robes and 2 layettes made, 9 packages of cards and a quantity of cookies, candy and fruit cakes sent to the welfare morale officer in San Francisco, Cal. Mmes. Clarence PRESCOTT, HOSBAND and Chris OLSON are the auditing committee. Mrs. John ELIASEN was welcomed as a new member.

Mrs. PIERCE and Mrs. Walter PRAMER serve Jan. 8. The December dinner committee holds through January. The nominating committee included Mmes. JOHNSON, Hans G. HANSEN, OLSON, BUCK and Chris LARSON. Mrs. OLSON and Mrs. Leonard BOWERS served.
