C. W. BRUCE.

Is a native of Cass county. His father, Hon. J. E. Bruce, for a number of years was a successful and enterprising citizen of Atlantic, having represented this district in the state senate and held various other positions of trust, creditably to himself and his constituency. C. W. Bruce is Vice President of the Bruce Loan and Investment Company, the Neal Institute of Des Moines and the Daisy Stock Remedy Company of Atlantic.

His faith in Cass county is shown by the investments he has made therein. He is public spirited, contributing both in time and money to any enterprise that has for its ultimate goal the benefit of Atlantic. Fraternally he is a member of the Elks and his reputation in both the business and social world is excellent.

Mr. Bruce was married to Miss Ada Johnson in January, 1906. They have one child, Miss Luella, who is very sweet and winsome. They reside at 1206 Locust street, a likeness of which appears elsewhere in this edition.
