For many years has been actively identified with the social and confidential interests of Atlantic and is recognized as a successful and enterprising man. He is actively associated with the Commercial Club and fraternal orders. Mr. Gillette possesses the qualities to be desired by those upon whom responsibilities of this character devolve.

To most women time is an interrogation point. What life holds for her depends somewhat on her ideals. To be clothed in the creations of the Gillette store is to journey with a peaceful mind. Time has no terrors for the well gowned woman. Many of the feminine creations of Cass county bear witness to the individuality that has graced them through the medium of the Gillette goods.

Genius consists in taking advantage of opportunities quite as much as in making them. Mr. Gillette has demonstrated by the position he occupies that he has taken common sense advantage of opportunities that were open to everybody, but his example shows that they are grasped by few.
