The man who devotes his life to the curing of disease is a benefactor to humanity, no matter with what school of the healing art he affiliates.

G. L. Chamberlin, practitioner of Chiropractic, the new healing art, is located in sumptuously furnished offices over the Park barber shop. Mr. Chamberlin's profession is not recognized as yet by the medical authorities of Iowa and locally and at other points in the state, attempts have been made to indict the chiropractors on the charge of practicing medicine without license, but the efforts have failed in the majority of cases. The chiropractor gives no medicine but by the application of the rules of his science seeks to locate and eradicate the cases of disease. He does not claim to treat all disease but the cases which have been handled here by Mr. Chamberlin have been handled most successfully and his clientelle is on the increase.

Mr. Chamberlin is married and has one son. He is a booster for Atlantic and her institutions and is every ready to do his full part towards the upbuilding of the community.
