CHAS. C. APPLEGATE

Requests the endorsement of the voters of Cass county for the nomination for County Treasurer on the Republican ticket at the coming June primaries.

To fill an office of this character the first requisite is honesty. For the last forty years the citizens of this county have had an opportunity to learn that "Charlie" Applegate is thoroughly saturated with the old fashioned brand of integrity and is worthy any trust imposed in him.

Those who know Mr. Applegate best like him best and say that in their association with him he has never violated a confidence, and that his word is good in all matters.

He has always affiliated with the republican party and has been a contributor to the cause it represents, having freely given of his time to the end that the organization might be successful.

Mr. Applegate was in charge of the Applegate elevator here for over twenty years and has had an opportunity to form close relations with every movement for the betterment of the county. Knowing as he does the ideas of the voters pertaining to the way they desire to have this office conducted, Mr. Applegate begs to assure all voters that if this trust is reposed in him he will faithfully fulfill every condition of it.

"Charlie" believes in doing things and is in line with a greater Cass county sentiment.
