WILLIAM TALBOT.

William Talbot, a New Yorker by birth and an Illinoisan by agricultural training, made a settlement in the fall of 1868. He was the first justice of the peace in the township, and was in office at the time of his death in 1874. His widow removed to Hamilton county, this State, where she remarried.
