Arras front June to August, 1916; later the battery moved to the Somme
region and took part in the battle of the Somme, capturing the village
of Fluer; on the 17th of September while waiting for a relieving battery
was wounded and sent home. Recovered from wounds and was trans, to
Corps of Royal Eng.; again in action on many fronts until sent home in
the latter part of 1918. Still in home service.
