photos show great-grandmother, Maud Shaffer on the left, and on the
right, and Maud and her sister, Lena. "In the early 1900's Maud came to
Brandon, IA and married Lou Beachler, son of John Henry Beachler. Prior
to their marriage, Maud's family had been part of a wild west show and
the attached pictures show their act/costumes." "I'm unsure where they were taken but it would have been around 1895-1902. I got the photos from family in IA, but since they traveled throughout the south performing, I'm unsure where the photos were taken." |
