The Hoover Burial Ground was established
on March 2, 1857, upon the death of the little daughter of Charles and
Martha Hoover. On March 6, 1880, Charles Hoover presented to the board
of trustees, a warrantee deed donating one acre of land to the
community. The name of the cemetery was changed to the
