Hello, I am looking for information on out great-great-grandparents, Bernard and (K) Catherine Hanson. They were both born about 1801 in Germany and came to Iowa in 1852, settling in Cox Creek area, Iowa. They had 3 children: Susanna Hanson Olinger, Peter Hanson and Barney Hanson. I have been told that they, Bernard and Catherine, were buried at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, Independence, Iowa (pat 4, block 3, plot 4). Bernard died March 3, 1884, and Catherine Feb 15, 1875. Is there any chance that you are related to them? If not, do you know of someone who could help me find out more about them.
