Kathy Hisler, 78, of Webster City died Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Kathlyn Jean Anderson, daughter of Bud and Margaret (Foley) Anderson, was born June 13, 1943 in Webster City. She attended grade school in Woolstock and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1961. On May 19, 1962, Kathy was united in marriage to James A. Hisler at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Through the years, Kathy worked as an administrative assistant at Jiffy Plumbing, Ferrellgas, Lambi Chevrolet, and for the City of Webster City for 22 years, retiring in December 2021.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jim; children, Karen (Dennis) Maginn of Overland Park, KS, Margaret (Bill) Randall of Creighton, MO, Steve Hisler of Washington, DC, Tommy Hisler of Ankeny; grandchildren, James Randall, Jack Randall, Caroline Randall, Conner (Maginn) White, Heath Maginn, Anderson Maginn, Sophie Jo Hisler, Jude Hisler; great-grandchildren, Thatcher Randall, Charlotte White; siblings, Dick (Judy) Anderson of Phoenix, AZ, Carole (LeRoy) Proctor of Tucson, AZ, Dennis (Diane) Anderson of Tucson, AZ, Bill Anderson of Webster City, Mike (Linda) Anderson of Story City and many nieces, nephews, and extended family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Linda Hisler and brother, Mark Anderson.

Kathy was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given in Kathy's memory to Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
