Curtis Dunbar DeWitt, 72, of 75 Hibiscus, Lucerne Mobile Home Park, Winter Haven, died Thursday. A retired farmer, he had lived in the area since 1970 and belonged to the Winter Haven Elks Lodge No. 1672.

He is survived by wife, Evelyn I.; daughters, Jane Thul of Winter Haven, and Beth DeWitt of Winter Park; son, Don DeWitt of Chicago; five grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren. Crisp-Coon Funeral Home of Winter Haven is in charge of arrangements.

Relatives received word of the death of Curtis DeWitt, 72, of Winterhaven, Florida formerly of Goldfield. Mr. DeWitt passed away Thursday, January 14 at his home. Services were held in Winterhaven.

Surviving are his wife, Evelyn; daughters, Jane Thul of Winterhaven and Beth DeWitt of Orlando, Florida; a son Don DeWitt of Chicago, Illinois; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Al (Darlene) Fleiter.
