Elberta Jean Woodley

Elberta Jean Woodley was born July 15, 1956, in Princeton, Mo. to Rex and Connie Bloom Woodley. She moved to Goldfield, Iowa, with her parents in February, 1957, and made her home with them until their deaths. She was employed by the Rotary Ann Retirement Home, and recently by the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion, Iowa.

Jean Woodley died Saturday, January 6, 2001, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Clarion at the
age of 44.

She is survived by one sister, Judith Slobodnik, and husband, Stephen, Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; three brothers, Rick Woodley and wife, Kerrie, Laurens, Iowa, Gary Ray Woodley, and wife, Phyllis, Jefferson, Iowa, and Ed Woodley and wife, Sharon, Vincent, Iowa; two uncles; five aunts; nine nieces and nephews; and three step-nieces. She was preceded in death by her parents, Connie in 1993, and Rex in 1999; and three uncles.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 9, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at the Willim Funeral Home in
Eagle Grove, Iowa, with Reverend Paul Stone officiating. Burial was held at Glenwood Cemetery at Goldfield. Willim Funeral Home in Eagle Grove was in charge of arrangements.
