Fred Norman Irelan, formerly of Eagle Grove, Iowa, was born in Mallard, Iowa. He was in the U. S. Air Force working in Communications. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Fred Norman Irelan of Glendale, Ariz., died Monday, June 7, 1999, at the age of 65. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn R. Irelan; one daughter, Glenda Jenkins; three sons, Fred N. Irelan, II, Steve M. Irelan, and Jon C. Irelan; two sisters, Bonita Ross, and Artheda Patch; three brothers, Richard C. Irelan, Earl J. Irelan, and David Irelan; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 10, 1999, at 11 a.m. at the Sunwest Funeral Home in El Mirage, Ariz. Sunwest Funeral Home in El Mirage was in charge of arrangements.
